Method: Soak oats and cashew nuts in milk and grind it in mixie. Then add Banana and grind it to make a nice paste. Add sugar and cardamom with the paste and mix it well. Pour it in Kuzhipaniaram tava with Ghee, fry it till it becomes golden brown in colour. It can be eaten along with tomato pickle. It will be the youngsters favorite dish.

Another way to achieve relief from earaches is to chop up a radish into very small pieces. Add these radish bits into mustard oil and heat it up. Then, put the resulting oil into a bottle. Whenever an earache pops up, put a couple of drops into the affected ear for rapid relief.



Many people substitute normal butter or vegetable oil but the end result is not as good. Vegetable oil does not offer the same deep flavour. Butter burns when it is cooked at the high heat required for many curries.

For the main dish you can choose any vegetable curry, just ask when you order for it to be cooked in any vegetable oil rather than ghee. Ghee is too fattening. You can also have lentils known as dhal. Make sure these dishes are not cooked with creamy sauces. If you want to eat meat then dishes like tikka masala or tandori meat are good choices. These meats are cooked in the oven.

This is more of a technique than a recipe. Literally translated 'Roomal' means 'Handkerchief' and the Roomali Roti is just that. A very soft, thin and large bread that folds and bends just like cloth. While it can be eaten with just about anything, it is a particular favorite when it comes to making rolls or wraps.



The following recipe combines spices like garam masala, chili, ginger, and cumin with vegetables to make a healthy vegetable dish. You can use any vegetables you like, including peas, beets, cabbage, broccoli, or carrots. Just finely chop them, boil them, and drain them well. This recipe calls for ghee, which is clarified butter. The cutlets are wonderful served hot with chutney on the side.

Now make the spice mix. In a large frying pan, add the dry spice and cook over medium heat until the spice begin to smoke. You should give the spice a toss every now and then click here to ensure they cook evenly. Remove to a bowl to cool.

Method : Heat oil in a wok and add jeera let it splutter. Add spinach and cook till the water in it dries.Mix in the cottage cheese, white pepper and salt. Cook for another minute, let it cool and make the rolls.
